Hi, Jim. The care the football community is showing you is inspiring. Thank you. Get better and we all look forward to seeing you back on campus this fall for a big game.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery Jim! As I told your daughter, Jim Hanchett IS Cornell! You embody all that it means to be a true Cornellian--devoted and generous in every sense! Sending a Big Red hug and hope to talk to you soon!
Hoping you have a speedy recovery and are back on the Hill soon. We miss you!
Things on “The Hill”, especially in the CFA Board Room just haven’t been the same without you Jim! Your smile, your wonderful knowledge of Big Red Football history, and your thoughtful ideas are all greatly missed. Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to tailgating with you again soon!
With love and well wishes,
Heather (and the kids too!)
Hope you are feeling better with each passing day and that you will be able to catch the Big Red in action in Ithaca this Fall.
Don't let Michigan get you down!
Up and at 'em.!
Go Big Red!

Lots of hugs and best wishes from the Hill.
Feel better and here's to a speedy recovery! We need you at the Games!
Jim, All good wishes and love,
Best wishes and Gods' Blessings for a quick, speedy and healthy recovery!!
Hope you get better soon. I have been reading your stuff. For 68 years and hope it continues.
When I learned you were in Michigan during the football season, it brings back memories of the game you often wrote about. 1951 when mighty Michigan lost to Cornell. The Cornell team leaders were mostly from the Class of '53. As I look at the letters being sent, you will have the biggest response probably ever for the next Alumni News class report. It is so important to have a quick recovery for the next Class '53 report & to continue the consecutive Reunion attendance record. My prayers are with you.
Hi Jim, Get well soon so we can see you on the hill this fall!
p.s. I noticed your picture above with Richie Moran -- did he push you down the steps????
Hope you recover quickly Jim!
All Best Wishes!

Jim, you better hurry to get up and around! The first Cornell home football game is September 22 against Yale, HOMECOMING, Freshmen on the Field, the Big Red Band Alumni day, everything that is important to Cornell Football! I will be looking for you under the CFA TENT! CHEERS.
Recover quickly. The Big Red needs you - the season is STARTING! Wishing you all the best! Cheers.
GO BIG RED!
We are so very sorry to learn of your fall. We wish you a speedy and complete recovery and look forward to your return to Ithaca and Cornell athletics soon.
Warmest best wishes-
Bill and Nancy
Jim, follow all the good advice that your fellow Cornellians have offered and get back to your former self. Best regards
