The 60th annual Ben Mintz, CFA Golf Outing is July 29th- 30th and promises to be our best ever!
The course will be conventional 18 hole play with twelve qualifiers advancing for a chance to win a $1,000,000 hole-in-one prize in the “Pete Noyes Million Dollar Shootout”. Additionally, all shootout qualifiers will take one shot from a 100 yard distance, with the closest to the pin being awarded a $10,000 cash prize. Matt Baughan has the course in terrific condition and you definitely won’t want to miss the exciting shootout finals!

As you know, the annual golf outing presents us with an opportunity to heighten awareness of Cornell Football as well as strengthen the bonds between our alumni and friends of our football program. “Cornell Pride” doesn’t end on the playing fields, or when the whistle blows – it continues with us all as we play the game of life…
As importantly, this event represents the largest financial impact to the operating budget of the “New CFA”. If you are unable to attend this year’s golf outing, please consider joining the CFA or making a donation. All donations are tax deductible, and 100% percent of your contributions inure to the benefit of Cornell Football.
Finally, our own Buck Briggs will receive the “Lou Conti Lifetime Achievement Award” at this year’s annual CFA Golf Outing dinner on July 30th. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a genuine commitment to the Cornell Football program through their support, leadership, and service over an extended period of time – NOBODY is more deserving than William Buckley Briggs!
